When you donate, you support a dream.
Since 1895, we’ve been able to support the dreams of the Jewish community in Michigan, thanks to the generosity of our donors. Whether the dream is to start a business, put a child through college, start a family with the help of in-vitro fertilization, or just support one’s family through a lean financial time, our donors help make it all possible.
Donations: All donations to the HFL Friends Campaign support interest-free loans and cover costs of HFL operations. Donations may be made securely online using a credit or debit card. Donors who contribute $180 or more will be acknowledged in the Detroit Jewish News and other HFL publications.
Tributes: A tribute is a donation made in honor or in memory of someone. HFL will send a beautiful tribute card to the honoree or to their family.
Evergreen Legacy Fund: For a minimum contribution of $25,000, which can be paid over a term of up to 5 years, a donor may establish this recycling loan fund. Loan recipients make their payments back to the fund, which then allows more loans to be distributed.
