Loan Process
Hebrew Free Loan is committed to supporting applicants in their quest to 
improve their lives. The agency strives to make the process of obtaining a loan simple but thorough.
To apply for an interest-free loan:
Contact the agency at (248) 723-8184 for a telephone interview to establish eligibility. A confidential interview will be scheduled with two directors.
The directors review your application and make the loan decision (they set the loan amount and the repayment terms). At the interview you are asked to sign a promissory note (outlines your legal commitment to repay the loan).
The applicant returns completed and signed co-signer information forms and a signed promissory note. A credit report is obtained on the co-signers and they then receive a telephone call to confirm their promissory note obligation.
It usually takes one to two weeks from the time the completed forms arrive at our office to the time the client is called to pick up their check.
